This CO2 detector is suitable for use in ornamental fish tanks and aquariums, particularly those featuring aquatic plants and tropical fish.

Please note that the package does not include a CO2 indicator solution. If you require it, you can easily find it in the CO2 equipment category of our shop.

Constructed from high-quality glass, this drop checker features a suction cup design that ensures strong adhesion without occupying internal tank space or causing water pollution from reagent leakage. Its acid and alkali-resistant properties, along with excellent transparency, enhance both the function and aesthetic appeal of your planted tank.

The drop checker allows for real-time observation of CO2 levels in your aquarium. When CO2 is turned off, the checker's solution will appear deep blue. After CO2 has been introduced for approximately two hours, you should observe a color change. The optimal CO2 concentration is indicated by a green color at 30ppm. If the solution remains blue, your CO2 levels are too low, while a yellow solution indicates excessively high levels, which could be harmful to your fish.

Installation is simple and user-friendly. Just fill the drop checker with the CO2 indicator solution, attach the suction cup, and place it in your planted tank. Allow two hours for an accurate reading of CO2 levels.

This device boasts high sensitivity, enabling precise monitoring of changes in carbon dioxide concentration within your aquarium.

The CO2 indicator solution is water-free, providing accurate and convenient observations.
